Overview
This policy defines the backup policy for customer’s data uploaded to fieldPRO.
Purpose
This policy is designed to protect customer’s data to be sure it is not lost and can be recovered in the event of an equipment failure, intentional destruction of data, or disaster.
Scope
This policy applies to all data uploaded by customers with legitimate fieldPRO software license.
Definitions
- Backup – The saving of files onto backup storage media for the purpose of preventing loss of data in the event of network, equipment failure or destruction.
- Restore – The process of bringing data back from the backup storage media and putting it on an online storage system for fieldPRO customer’s access.
Timing
Full text data backups are performed at every 8 hours (UTC 08,16,24 o’clock) and respective back up sets are stored for 30 days.
Full image data backups are performed at every Monday, once a week, and respective back up sets are stored for 30 days.

Data to be backed up include the following information:
Text data includes:
- Report information such as comment, rating, recommended action
Image data includes:
- Photos taken by fieldPRO mobile application
- Any image (such as borescope image) imported into fieldPRO
Restoration
Users that need files restored must submit a request to ONYX InSight. Include information about the report creation date, the name of the report, the last time it was changed, and the date and time it was deleted or destroyed.
