The landscape of our industry is changing. Wind assets are exponentially increasing in size, and installations become increasingly complex, both of which put undue pressure on the turbine’s components, as well as increasing the cost of a component failure.

Wind industry owners and operators have for years reaped the rewards of drivetrain monitoring and the substantial cost savings that proper drivetrain monitoring can result in.

However, as OPEX costs are continuously squeezed is now the time to expand this monitoring to beyond the drivetrain, and look to a whole turbine solution?
