Home-Based UK with regular travel to Nottingham

Up to £50k + car allowance + commission + bonus + health care

ONYX InSight is a global technology and engineering company in the renewable energy sector. We provide industry leading predictive analytics, engineering and machine health monitoring services for wind turbines. We will grow by 50% in 2019, and with an equally strong pipeline we are now seeking an energetic, skilled and motivated Business Development Manager for the UK and Northern Europe region.

ABOUT YOU

• Ability to understand and communicate complex technical solutions

• Some knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems

• First class communicator able to deal with both operational and C Suite audiences

• Highly motivated individual with a strong commercial understanding

• Engaging personality with the ability to push for and close a deal

YOU WILL BRING

• Strong B2B strategic relationship experience

• Customer account planning and forecasting experience

• Experience of managing key accounts and customer relationships

• Experience of developing new business in the renewables or related sector

• The ability to generate high quality proposal submissions and marketing material

• The ability to influence the development and execution of our sales strategy

• Systematic approach to prioritising and planning business development activity

• Ability to translate customer feedback into product development processes

• Track record of successful relationship and revenue development

• Commercial and price negotiation skills

• Able to travel 20-30 days per annum

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of CRM applications (e.g. Salesforce)

• Undergraduate Degree (desirable, not essential)

• Second language and/or international experience a plus

• Full driving licence
